Meito China hand painted Made in Japan. All over flower chintz pattern with gold trim. We have been unable to identify the name of this beautiful pattern. We do know that the founder of Meito was also the founder of Noritake and that this piece appears to be an early one. Meito was founded in 1908. You will not find any cracks or crazing  - a definite quality of both Meito and Noritake. It measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".  This charming piece would also make a lovely vanity accessory for jewelry.
