Beautiful Trifari "Meteor" pin signed is designed with crsytal clear baguettes set in brilliant Trifarium plated metal. Patent # 155,212 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari in 1949. This brooch is featured in Julia C. Carroll's book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" second edition  - page 179 and in a 1949 ad - "This Christmas every woman can have the thrill of Jewels by Trifari".
