1951 Crown Trifari Dogwood pin, Alfred Philippe design. Mid century. Blue molded glass in brilliant goldtone. 
 
This dogwood pin was featured in a 1951 Harpers Bazaar ad - Fashion Blossoms, From The Garden Of Jewels "Dogwood". There were a few other color variations seen in white and yellow. It is also featured on page 191 in Julia C Carroll's book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" 
 
It measures approximately 2" x 2" at it's widest point.  Upon close insepection with a jewelers 10x loupe there is a fine line hair crack. These hair line cracks are not visible  and do not detract from the beauty of this desirable piece.
