Wonderful vintage insect bug pin signed Ciner© designed in silvertone metal with rhinestone wings, eyes, and mouth. A large baroque pearl for the body and a round pearl on its head. It measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". 
 
Ciner started as a fine jewelry company, then switched to costume jewelry in 1931 after the stock market crash. Ciner is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and opulent designs.  Ciner's jewelry has been worn by Hollywood icons like Elizabeth Taylor and First Ladies such as Jacqueline Kennedy. The company closed in 2022 after nearly a century in business.
