Vintage Weiss brooch - dazzling in rainbow aurora borealis rhinestones. Prong set faceted ab navettes and chatons in various sizes. It measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4".
 
Weiss was founded in New York in 1942 by Albert Weiss after working for the Coro jewelry manufacturing company. The quality of his designs and use of  Austrian stones became quite popular with production in Germany, France and Rhode Island.  Albert Weiss's son Michael took over the company but later closed in 1971.
