1920-30's double sided morpho butterfly encased in glass and set in a heart shaped pendant. This scene depicts palm trees and a sailboat. It measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". It is in very good condition.
 
The Blue morpho butterfly, in particular, is often associated with transformation, rebirth, and healing. In some cultures, seeing a Blue Morpho is believed to grant a wish.
