Book Piece! Hard to find DeLizza & Elster aka butterfly brooch. The wings consist of unusal shaped ruby red stones called anchor stones, navettes, faceted orange chatons, peridot chatons are on the wing tips, and tiny chatons for the antenna. These fabulous anchor stones was first used in 1969 and they are scarce.
This butterfly is featured on page 185 in Ann Pitman's Juliana Jewelry Reference DeLizza & Elster Identification and Price Guide. I was pleased to contribute several pictures of my D&E jewelry in Ann's book.
