Signed Les Bernard maltese pin and dangle earrings. This demi-parure is designed with simulated pearls, crystal clear and colorful stones/cabochons. Brilliant goldtone metal. The pin measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and the clip on earrings measure 1 3/4" wide and 2 3/4" long. Looks to be never worm and in pristine condition.
 
Lester (Les) Joy and Bernard Shapiro officially founded Les Bernard Inc on December 6, 1963 in New York. Their operationwas located on the famous Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Bernard Shapiro was the son of Harold Shapiro who founded Vogue Jewelry in 1936. Joy was the main designer. Les Bernard created jewelry for the famous American soap opera Dynasty.
