Fabulous 1950s Louis Rousselet blown glass bead necklace. These blown glass beads and petals are a pale pink, darker pink and amethyst. "Ladder construction" for the chain and a glass button closure with Made in France on the back is indicative of this sought after designer. Most of Louis Rousselet jewelry was not marked and some had a paper hang tag which typically was discarded.
 
Louis Rousselet (1892-1980) was born in Paris. He mastered the technique of lamp-work beads and managed one of France's most important jewelry companies between WWI and WW2.
